Fast ‘N’ Rocking savaged the line for third in last year’s edition of the Oakleigh Plate first-up, has drawn well in barrier 7 and will be partnered by Dwayne Dunn on Saturday.

Posting five wins and seven minors through 34 career starts so far, Fast ‘N’ Rocking resumed in spring for consecutive fifth place finishes in the Listed Regal Roller Stakes (1200m) and Listed Cup Club Stakes (1200m) before a luckless run for seventh in the talent-rich Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m).

Returning to winning form in the Listed Caulfield Village Stakes (1200m) on October 14th, the Fastnet Rock gelding placed an impressive fourth in the Group 1 Manikato Stakes (1200m) and third in the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes (1200m) most recently.

Trainers David Hayes and Tom Dabernig will launch a three-pronged attack in the feature race after also confirming Gregers and three-year-old Keen Array in the 2016 Oakleigh Plate field.

Éclair Choice was a standout for leading South Australian trainer Phillip Stokes in spring but has been charged with overcoming barrier 14 in the Oakleigh Plate.

Finishing outside the first three only a handful of times through his seventeen career starts so far, Éclair Choice resumed in spring for fifth in the Listed Carlyon Stakes (1000m) before placing third in the Listed Wylie Handicap (1100m) on September 19th.

Charging home to win the Group 2 Caulfield Sprint (1000m) in a dead heat with Lumosty on October 17th, the California Dane gelding returned to the paddock after winning the Group 2 Salinger Stakes (1200m) on Derby Day.

Having placed sixth in the Group 2 Rubiton Stakes (1100m) first-up on February 13th, Éclair Choice will be partnered by regular rider Dom Tourneur on Saturday.

Fell Swoop has more than stamped himself as a horse to watch through the last 12 months and will leave from the ideal barrier 5 in the Oakleigh Plate with a very manageable 53kgs in tow.

Posting an exceptional eight wins and one minor through ten starts so far, Fell Swoop won the Selleys BM75 (1100m) by three lengths at Rosehill on August 1st; progressing to success in the TAB Rewards BM85 (1000m) before making a successful transition to black type racing with success in the Cup Club Stakes.

Returning to the paddock after taking out the Listed Testa Rossa Stakes (1200m) on September 19th, the Not A Single Doubt gelding has trialled well in the lead-up to his competitive return and will be partnered by Glyn Schofield in the Oakleigh Plate.

Heatherly carries career-best form into the Oakleigh Plate and could very well receive the run of the race after drawing barrier 2 for her maiden Group 1 appearance.

Resuming this time for second in the Total Logistic Solutions BM78 (1000m) on December 5th, Heatherly placed third in the Jeep 55 Second Challenge (955m) before returning to winning form in the Slickpix BM78 (1000m) on January 2nd.

Beating a number of notable contenders to the line in the Andrew Guy Plate (1100m) on January 30th, the Lonhro filly delivered a classy field a near-six length defeat in the Group 2 Rubiton Stakes (1100m) a fortnight ago.
